As the 2022 Statehouse race hots up, the Deputy President William Ruto is the man to beat for the coveted seat as the next polls near in succeeding President Uhuru Kenyatta.

And as cracks are widening in Jubilee party which has now turned to be an ethnic party, the deputy president should quit and join a long-lasting party.

Ruto will know his true friends the moment he will leave the party.

Ruto who has since found peace among top Ford Kenya leaders including deputy party leader, the former Kakamega Senator Dr.Bony Khalwale and Kiminini Mp Chris Wamalwa. 

He should consider joining the party and be assured of the Western region vote block of Kakamega, Busia, Bungoma, and TransNzoia counties.

Ruto who has become a darling of politicians in the western, parts of Central and Rift valley regions. He should join a party of great repute as soon as possible to save the capsizing political boat and career.

With political jitters continue widening, Ford Kenya party has been in existence since the introduction of the multiparty democracy in the 90s and is among longest serving party in Kenta. 

Its party leader Moses Wetangula, Bungoma senator is a national figure who commands reputation on the political environment.

The recent remarks by the former Jubilee interim vice chair, David Murathe split the ruling jubilee party and portrayed as a political outfit of few individuals who have personalized interest.

Once, the deputy president quits Jubilee, the party will be as dead than Murathe and his godfathers would have imagined.

Ruto is openly welcomed in Ford Kenya as politicians consider realignments for the 2022 elections. Quitting the Jubilee party will do William Ruto more good than the current political stalemate and standing in the country.
