Tanzanian celebrated artist Diamond Platnumz and Nigeria's Wizkid Dayo plunged the city of Dar es Salaam into craziness after the two stepped on stage.
Wizkid and Diamond are yet to drop any project or rather a collabo, but that could not stop them from combining efforts to give an electrifying performance during Wasafi Festival 2019 on Saturday night.
As a guest artist, Wizkid was the first one to step on stage where he performed a number of his key hits. He stayed on stage for over 15 minutes before he left.
Like that was not enough for Wizkid who is known for one-man-shows, he then joined Diamond on stage when the East Africa finest was performing his latest viral song 'Baba Lao', which loosely translates to "I am their boss".
Wizkid picked the mic and joined Diamond on stage before the whole crowd went wild. The way Wizkid was entertaining with 'Baba Lao' vibes one would say Diamond had featured him in the song.
He (Wizkid) was seen going crazy, jumping from one point to another, showering the crowd with bottle water in intervals. The Nigerian also threw a number of his towels to the crowd and even his shirts.
"Make some noise for my brother Diamond, make some noise for Wasafi Festival, that is my brother for life," Wizkid said before he resumed the whole stage from Diamond Platnumz.
