Former Jubilee Vice Chairman David Murathe has faulted Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro's stand on constitutional amendments, arguing that he should change his mind.
Mr Nyoro has been at loggerheads with a team leaning towards President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga, accusing it of undermining DP William Ruto.
On Monday, he was arrested briefly for allegedly inciting youths at a church service in Kiharu constituency on Sunday, a claim he dismissed.
But Mr Murathe, who was speaking at Tony Gachoka's birthday on Saturday, insisted that Mr Nyoro had lost track, adding that it's time he supports Building Bridges Initiative.
Murathe, who has often vowed to ensure Deputy President William Ruto is locked out in 2022, argued that he has no problem supporting Mr Raila Odinga.
"Assume that Building Bridges Initiative recommends for rotational presidency and we front Ndindi Nyoro from Murang'a, do you think he will refuse? He's stupid.
"Let them relax, they are the blue band babies. If they say it's all about Raila, I will support him. These change are important in our country," he said.
DP Ruto is keen to block constitutional changes, often accusing Mr Odinga of steering them for his own political gains in 2022.
On Monday, Nyoro insisted that some people from Mt Kenya want him to support Raila, adding that he's not ready for it.
"I will not commit political suicide by selling Raila here. I listen to my people and I know he's unsellable in Mt Kenya. I cannot sell Raila even at gunpoint, let them come and face the people. Let them stop intimidating me. I can't leave Tanga Tanga," he said.
