Kisii University admitted thousands of new students for the September intake.
Commonly referred to as freshers, their first weeks in the university is focused on shining to ensure they keep up with the university trends.
Here is how to identify a first-time comrade at Kisii University;
1.Dressing
Freshers are known to be confused when it comes to dressing.
Ladies will be seen in ironed and denim maxi dresses.
They will bring along the village 'Sunday best' to campus.
Recognising a first-year student by the way they dress is one of the easiest tricks.
In some cases, their clothes may have their high school admission number painted on them.
2.Too much 'swag'
They will be seen in big chains and boots (male) which make them look like wannabe hip-hop artists.
The ladies put on extreme makeup to mainly attract 'team 'mafisi'.
Not forgetting their old wigs from the secondhand stores.
3. They look confused and stare at every passer-by
First-time campus comrades walk in groups staring at every person or car passing by.
They act like they just landed from the villages where development is rare.
4. Most of them are drunkards
The university is the best place to try out every energy in you.
With the peer pressure, freshers will drink alcohol to 'fit' into the university society, but they do it past their intake limit which makes them extremely drunk to the extent of passing out.
5. They easily fall in love
In most cases, this happens with the ladies.
They will fall in love with any 3rd-year dude who comes along their way, especially when they notice the 'guy' owns a good rental room and a good woofer.
This is where they lose their virginity (if they were) to the wrong guys.
The boys have to fight a series of dry spells as the ladies have all been swept away.
However, there are some who are composed and cannot be easily identified unless they tell you.
