While a man might prefer to divorce a woman he has been in a marriage with for more than five years if he finds out the woman cheated on him, a study has revealed that women cheat to save their marriages.
What you need to know is that not all kind of infidelities in a marriage are because there is no love, a study has indicated that women may end up cheating on their husbands who they love very much, just for one thing; save the marriage.
It was revealed that women who cheated on their husbands were so much in love with them but were not intimately satisfied, and for that reason, they had to look for other options that would meet their body desires.
The women ended up saving their marriages, in that they could not pack up their belongings and leave nor could they put pressure on their husbands to have their desires met.
The findings were brought to the limelight by Author Alicia Walker, who interviewed over 50 women that cheated on their husbands.
She revealed that 26 women out of the 50 women she talked to said they were in sexless marriages, and only cheated to get what they were not getting from their husbands.
"More than half of the women I talked to (26 to be precise) said, 'I’m in a sexless marriage, or I'm not having orgasms, and that’s why I’m cheating'," she said.
