Eldoret town has proved to be the centre stage of most commercial sex workers including universities, colleges and even some high school students who have encroached into this 'business'.
With an increased number of the twilight girls in town, they sometimes find more competitive to make enough money to meet their needs.
Desperate to make their ends meet, these twilight girls have come up with different ways to rob men their hard-earned cash.
Some of them have gone to an extent where they psychically assault or hurl insults at some male passerby when they seem not interested in them.
Aaron Wanyonyi, a hawker along Oginga Odinga street says most unsuspecting men have been robbed of their belongings through these means.
"I have witnessed several men robbed here. These girls insult you and when you try to get to them and asked why they descend on you," he said.
Some trick men into sleeping with them only to turn against them claiming that they haven't been paid for the service offered.
They then demand a large amount of money and because it is a trick, they will all descend on the now looking helpless man demanding he pays the money to the lady. Left with no other option, the victim falls into the trick and pays them.
Others have come up with drugs substance that they give to their possible clients. These drugs are said to be in powder form while others in liquid form and once sprayed on men, they get confused and unconscious.
"I once experienced the same, I didn't know what happened then. I only came to know later in my house that I had been robbed," said Peter Kibor a victim.
It is therefore upon all men to be careful when interacting with these twilight girls lest they will be robbed their hard-earned cash.
