There was drama at Milimani estate in Kisii on Sunday after a woman nabbed her husband having sex with their house help.
Linnet Bosibori said she has been suspected her husband, Jonathan Omundi, was having an illicit affair with their house help, Stella Kemunto.
“I went to church alone since my husband said he was not feeling well and Kemunto was washing clothes. I returned home at 2pm only to find my husband and the house help in our bedroom having sex,” Bosibori said.
Bosibori confessed that she gave the house help a beating after her husband fled from the scene.
“I could not control my temper since I felt betrayed by my husband who I married when he did not even have a bed to sleep on. I beat up the house help before I forced her to pack all her belongings and leave my house,” said Bosibori.
She later reported the incident to area assistant chief Paul Ong’uti.
Confirming the incident, the assistant chief said that Bosibori's husband had since gone into hiding.
“Omundi escaped to an unknown place after he was caught having sex with the house help. He went into hiding because of shame,” he said.
Ong’uti called on men to stop betraying their wives by sleeping with the house helps they have hired to help them do house duties.
