An impromptu visit by Majority Leader Duke Masira to Nyamira County Referral Hospital has caused panic among top managers.
On Wednesday 2am, the Township ward tours the hospital only to find a host of patients abandoned with others grappling in severe pains.
For some hours, Mr. Masira is seen confronting unidentified hospital workers even as the entire image painted the institution as a rotten facility.
"I am disappointed with our medics. If this is how they operate, then something isn't working somewhere," he said in a call.
But his quarrel with a section of the management has caused panic among the medics with a possible onslaught awaiting them in the assembly.
One of them who spoke in confidence, conceded that the trip could cost some of his colleagues their jobs.
"Someone is supposed to be on duty but nothing is happening. I am seeing a scenario where a number of my colleagues going home."
In the recent past, the hospital's management has come under severe criticism with locals accusing it of mismanagement.
Minister of Health Douglas Bosire, in a past event, has warned medics about negligence in their area of work.
