A building at Sabasaba in Majengo area within Mombasa City, is on fire.

In a video shared by Nation on YouTube, heavy smoke can be seen from the building, with locals attempting to put the fire off.

The cause of the fire at the building along Jomo Kenyatta Avenue, is yet to be established.

A fire engine from the Mombasa County government is already at the scene, trying to contain the fire.

Police officers are also at the scene. No casualties have been reported so far.
