Wiper Democratic Movement leader Kalonzo Musyoka has differed with his NASA co-principal Moses Wetangula over the coalition's future.
Kalonzo has dismissed reports that the coalition has crumbled as claimed by Wetangula.
According to Kalonzo, alleged discord from the Ford Kenya wing is an indication of healthy democracy existing within the coalition.
Speaking on Thursday, Kalonzo urged Kenyans to ignore media reports since the coalition was still intact.
“I consider myself an important player in the NASA family and I am not aware of the pronounced “death” of NASA Coalition,” said Kalonzo.
He made the remarks while addressing a conference on Mediation themed “Mediation for Development” at Strathmore University in Nairobi.
The former Vice President further offered to mediate between Raila Odinga and Wetangula. This after Wetangula accused Raila of spearheading the collapse of NASA when he agreed to work with the government.
He said that the feud between the two leaders might lead to divisions within NASA.
Kalonzo further challenged Parliament to legislate laws so as to firmly entrench mediation process into the Constitution.
