Bungoma Senator Moses Wentangula has explained why Kenyan really deserves constitutional change. In a video making rounds on social media, Wentangula categorically stated that the current system of the government is dividing Kenya.
For him, the government must go back to the parliamentary system where winner take it or restrictive structure is not possible.
"This has nearly torn Kenya apart, " stated Wentangula
According to the Senator, restructuring the constitution especially the executive will create more political offices. This to him is not a problem to Kenyan.
"This country has a serious problem of mismanagement of public resources, " he argues.
He challenged those leaders salivating for either prime minister or any other offices to be created by referendum, saying they are whistling in the dark as this will come and go.
Furthermore, he said Kenyans know and believe that the Constitution they passed are subject to change under their power whenever the need arises.
"I championed for the change, not because of political seats since those who want this has no guarantee they will get it," he revealed.
"who knows, maybe the most feared people will not be there in 2022," he divulged.
