Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has awarded Kisumu All Stars two goals and three points resulting from a game played against opponents Wazito FC on Sunday.

Kisumu All Stars lost the match 0-4, and immediately lodged a complaint against Wazito for fielding an illegible player.

Wazito midfielder Teddy Osok featured in the game, yet he was ineligible for the match after accumulating five yellow cards in the run up to the game.

Osok was one of the scorers on Sunday.

FKF Communications Officer Barry Otieno confirmed that Wazito FC now forfeit the win after All Stars lodged a successful complaint.

“Kisumu All Stars have been awarded two goals and three points. Their complaint against Wazito FC was successful,” he said in an exclusive interview.

All Stars now moves back to the top of the National Super League (NSL) as race for the Kenya Premier League (KPL) promotion continues to take shape.

The Kisumu based side now lead NSL standings with 57 points, one ahead of second placed Ushuru FC. 

Wazito FC is now third on the log with 55 points, at par with fourth placed Nairobi Stima after 28 rounds of matches.

Kisumu All Stars next assignment is away to Shabana FC at the Gusii Stadium in Kisii, on Friday 26, 2019.
