There was drama on Tuesday evening at Lolwe estate after a female student from Masinde Muliro University clashed with her watchman.
The incident happened after minutes after the student's boyfriend from Moi University left for Eldoret.
According to the student identified as Faith, the watchman has been notifying her boyfriend every time men come to visit her.
Faith noted that she has been trying to figure out how her boyfriend in Eldoret learns about everything she does in Kisumu with no success.
“Every time a man comes in, my boyfriend will call in the evening to ask about him. When I ask how he learned about it, he won’t say anything. Today I saw the text he sent to my boyfriend. Please leave my life,” she said.
The watchman, on his part, said that the girl’s boyfriend is his friend and anything they talk about is not related to her.
“We text sometimes, but I have never talked about this girl. I am only concerned about the job that pays me,” he told the crowd.
University students are fond of socialization with people of different gender, something that raises questions with their sexual partners.
