Homa Bay County Women Rep Gladys Wanga has said that the wrangles in the Jubilee Party have denied the opposition chance and the opportunity to do its oversight role.
Speaking during Citizen TV interview, the ODM diehard said that Jubilee division is breaking into a war forcing them to sit back on the war against corruption and the contraband sugar.
“We can see that the third world war is breaking within Jubilee. He role of ODM in this matter: We are doing our oversight role but now the war is too big within Jubilee itself that we are forced to sit back,” Hon. Wanga said on Wednesday.
She also added that the friends to the deputy president William Ruto’s are making it hard to come with a solution to the shenanigans because they are busy planning for a fallback in case things do not go as per Jubilee agreement.
“Ruto’s allies are already looking into the future. In the event that there is a fallout do they have a fallback? I think this is a plan for a fall back,” added the Women Rep.
As per Jubilee’s expectation, the deputy president will succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta come 2022, something that is seemingly becoming impossible due to the wrangles in the party.
