Comedian and radio sensation Felix Odiwuor, also known as Jalang’o has come out to clear his name over allegations of wrongly receiving money from the county government of Nyandarua.
Speaking in Milele FM’s morning drive where he works on Monday morning, Jalang’o stated that he is being accused of recently skipping a Master of Ceremony task in a county forum, after receiving full payment.
He noted that he was shocked to learn that the county Members of County Assembly (MCAs) have since embarked on sittings to discuss him for the crime which he says he did not do.
‘’MCA wa Nyandarua sasa wananijadili baada ya organizers wa county kusema nilipokea pesa ilhali mimi hata sijui hafla wanayoizungumzia na wala sijapokea pesa zozote (I have not received anything from the county of government and neither was I called to preside over any event),’’ said Jalash.
He noted that he has never stepped into the Francis Kimemia-led county for the last 5 years, a calling upon the county chief to intervene and aid him in clearing his name.
‘’Nilikuwa huko mwisho 2013, sijakuwa Nyandarua kwa miaka mitano. Yeyote aliye na mawasiliano na Gavana Kimemia amweleze (the last time I was there was 2013, the Governor should intervene),’’ he said.
