For the second time in as many weeks, State House Digital Communication Director Dennis Itumbi united with his longtime friend Jacque Maribe in Milimani Law Courts.
Earlier, Itumbi, who at one time was linked to a romantic relationship with Maribe, penned an emotional poem to the celebrated news anchor on his various social media forums.
And in court, a passionate Itumbi hugged Maribe from within the dock as Joseph Irungu alias Jowie watched from a distance.
In her affidavits, Maribe seemed to suggest that his relationship with Jowie was over, arguing that she was only a victim of love in a murder case involving Monica Kimani, a businesswoman.
Maribe said that she was only being dragged to the case only because Mr. Irungu was driving her vehicle the night Monica was reportedly killed.
She further described Mr. Irungu being part of her 'former' relationship, a further indication that she has since given up.
Both Maribe and Jowie are fighting for their freedom before Justice James Wakiaga at Milimani Law Courts.
Among prominent people who have visited Ms. Maribe, who was remanded at Lang'ata Women prison is Mr. Itumbi and Moses Kuria.
