Embakasi East Member of Parliament Paul Ongili popularly known as Babu Owino now claims that deputy president William Ruto is now a depressed man as he is no longer able to give orders to the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) as he used to do.
Through his official Twitter account, the youthful legislator posted, “DP Ruto is a very depressed man. Ruto's obsession with Raila Odinga is understandable. Those days when he could order DCI and EACC from Sugoi via phone calls are long gone and now he has to try and arm-twist these institutions by heckling in public rallies & funerals.”
Babu Owino is a close ally to the former prime minister and ODM party leader Raila Odinga who has of late been engaging in an exchange of bitter words with Deputy President William Ruto.
The second man in command together with his allies led by Kapseret member of Parliament Oscar Sudi and Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen have accused Raila of trying to disorganize their Jubilee party.
The leaders claim that Raila had an ill motive with his handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta. They also claim that the graft war is directly aimed at William Ruto.
