The MP, who is one of Deputy President (DP) William Ruto’s loyal allies, was one of the guests on Dr King’ori’s The Wicked Edition Show which runs on NTV every Friday after the 7PM news bulletin.

Towards the end of the program, Dr King’ori wanted to know if the MP would agree to exchange his salary with that of a chief.

“If the problem with your salary is the house allowance, would you like to exchange it with the salary of a chief that already has house allowance; Yes or No?” posed Dr King’ori.

“I will say no,” the MP said as he pleaded with the comedian to give him time to explain his answer but he was not afforded that luxury as the Show was drawing towards the end.

Members of Parliament are entangled in a war of words with the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) after the commission officials went to court to block MPs from receiving Sh250, 000 each as house allowance on monthly basis.
