Speaking during the burial, former Machakos deputy governor Benard Kiala stated that the deceased was a live member of the party after ditching Jubilee.

He lamented that it was shameful that the Wiper party didn't send condolences or contributions yet she was a member.

"Ann ditched Jubilee and joined Wiper, she adhered to everything she was told and became a live member. I'm surprised Wiper didn't send contribution or condolences at all,it's a shame," said Kiala.

"Wiper forgot this woman when she needed them the most,I'm surprised. It seems we are only needed during elections," he added.

Kiala said that the party has funds but doesn't have projects to show despite having a 'promising' manifesto every general election.

"The Wiper party has programmes meant to empower youths and women which are never affected," he said.

Speaking at the same event Matungulu member of parliament Stephen Mule said that the Wiper party should not be expected to undertake development projects yet the national and county governments are there for that.

Among other leaders who had attended the burial include Former Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama, Matungulu west member of county assembly among others.

The deceased, Ann Wairimu died last week after a grisly accident along Nairobi-Kangundo road.
