Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has refuted claims levelled against him by Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati that was planning to kill him.
“I have heard that the Dagoretti North Member of Parliament saying that I want to kill him, why should I kill him and what will I gain?” Sudi posed.
Sudi who spoke to the press in Eldoret town on Wednesday said Arati is using the issues as a scapegoat to hide the bad things he did during the Kibra election.
“I cannot Kill Simba Arati because he has young children like mine and his death will not help me in any way, therefore, he should stop telling lies,” added the Kapseret legislator.
Arati on Sunday during a thanksgiving ceremony of MP-elect Bernard Okoth Imran at DC grounds, Kibra, claimed that his life is in danger.
The Dagoretti MP claimed that he received a phone call from Sudi who allegedly threatened him.
“Oscar Sudi called me and told me that they will kill me. I know on whose behalf he was talking. I am not shaken, there is nothing they can do otherwise I am ready,” said Arati.
Arati has been on the firing line from a section of Jubilee leaders accusing him of engineering violence meted out on some Jubilee affiliated leaders in Kibra last week.
Among them is Sudi, former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale, Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa and Mumias MP Benjamin Washiali.
