Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Nordin Hajji has won the hearts of Kenyans again, this is according to the latest survey conducted by the Africa Center for Open Governance (AfriCOG) and Infotrak Research and Consulting companies.
The survey report released on Sunday indicated that a whopping majority of Kenyans have full confidence in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions led by Nordin Hajji.
According to the survey release, Hajji enjoys a whopping 94 percent backing from Kenyans across the counties owing to the ongoing high profile public prosecutions of suspects and other capital offenders in government offices.
However, another 40 percent of the respondents who participated in the survey believed that the Office of the DPP was serving the public interest.
In the last few weeks, the DPP has battled cartels including high profile individuals holding big government offices.
So far, some cabinet secretaries have faced the hammer.
