The Wiper MP wants the government to deal with unemployment and youth radicalization.

Mulyungi reveals that many young people are falling to terrorism because they don't have jobs.

Speaking to journalists in Mwingi Town on Saturday, the MP said that terrorism and crime will be a thing of the past if young people are given jobs.

He also said that radicalization is pushing youth to terror activities, adding that people exposing youth to radical teachings must be dealt with accordingly.

"The only sure way to prevent and deal with terrorism is to give young people jobs and stop radical teachings," he said.

Mulyungi also proposed for deployment of more security to the border with Somalia.

He said that porous borders are giving terror agents space to gain entry and perpetuate terror activities.

The Wiper MP urged Kenyans to support measures put in place to fight against terrorism.

Mulyungi said that no religion advocates for terrorism and perpetrators should be dealt with accordingly.

He condoled with families and friends who lost their loved ones in the Tuesday terror attack at Dusit D2 hotel in Nairobi.

Mulyungi urged security forces to smoke out planners and financiers of the Dusit attack.

Investigations into the Dusit D2 hotel complex attack is on top gear with several suspects already in police custody.
