President Uhuru on Wednesday was a surprise to KCPE candidates of Uhuru Gardens Primary School in Nairobi after paying them a surprise visit.
The president used the visit to supervise the first exam among those schedules for KCSE day 2.
He encouraged stakeholders across the country to ensure that the process remains credible for fairness.
“This morning I supervised the opening of KCPE exam papers at Uhuru Gardens Primary School, Nairobi," he said.
"I am confident that the national examination process across the country will remain credible, as we mold our children into young men and women of integrity,” he added.
He was together with Education CS Amb Amina Mohamed and Kenya National Examinations Council Chairman George Magoha.
