Thirdway Alliance Secretary-General Fred Okango has poked holes into the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report ahead of its release on Tuesday.
Speaking during an interview on K24 on Monday, Okango said that the report should only be adopted if it will delve into amending the constitution.
He affirmed that there are issues that need to be addressed and changing the constitution is not a solution to the problems Kenyans are facing.
"If that report (BBI) will be about amending the constitution, it should be rejected," he said.
He also said that the BBI team was formed because of President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga instead of Kenyans.
Okango divulged that Kenyans must be given the chance to give their own views on the issue before it can be implemented.
Okango argued that Kenyan views are not likely to be reflected once the report has been released to the public.
"When the BBI task force was formed, it's aspirations were of two people and not Kenyans. You can not invite selected few to give views! The people MUST be involved," he added.
The BBI team revealed that the report will be handed over to President Kenyatta and Raila on Tuesday.
