Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko once again won many hearts with his latest move to rescue former Kenyan boxer, Conjestina Achieng'.
Early this week, a video of Conjestina Achieng' surfaced online showing the Kenyan champion in a poor state.
The footage which went viral on social media showed the former champion struggle to pull the punches she was making during her heydays as a boxer.
She was also instructed to flex her muscles which she did with easy even though there were no muscles to show off.
Her biceps were in bad shape, a clear indication her dieting and training were dismal.
Conjestina who is now 41 was back in the year 2012 diagnosed with a schizoaffective disorder/paranoid schizophrenia before she was admitted at Mathare Hospital in 2012 for medication.
Her current state angered many Kenyans on social media, with most of them blaming the State for ignoring the champion.
Miko Sonko however decided to come through for the former champion.
"I’ll personally ensure Conjestina is fully treated and rehabilitated before she’s assisted to get a stable job to make her financially independent," read Sonko Facebook post in part.
