Politics is a game of separations and reunions, political analyst Ambrose Weda has said, adding that its a situation where even the worst of enemies still shake hands.
He made the remarks on Wednesday, in reference to Tuesday's meeting between ODM leader Raila Odinga and rebel Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa at the Parliament Buildings.
He said Kenyans should not be shocked to see Deputy President William Ruto being hosted by Raila at his Capitol Hill offices, despite their current perceived enmity.
"The next day you might see Ruto in Upper Hill drinking tea or Raila in Sugoi, politics is all about making bridges," he said on KBC's The Big Conversation on Wednesday.
About Jumwa, he said she has always been an ODM member, and it was time to seek her support ahead of the Kibra by-election where ODM has fronted Imran Okoth.
"Jumwa has always been an ODM member, it is ODM that has been trying to push her away but it seems it was time to build bridges," he added.
