Speaking to journalists in Nairobi on Wednesday, Junet said that they are tired sideshows by the allies of the second in command. He said them attend the planned BBI meetings and having to attend those planned by them is hypocrisy.

He argued that the leaders should declare their stand once and for all. He went on to welcome them to the rally in Mombasa.

“We want to welcome those of us who have been inspired by the Holy Spirit with a good heart but you should come with discipline."Tunakaribisha wale wenzetu ambao roho mtakatifu ameingia kwa roho zao, wanakaribshwa kwa roho safi lakini mkuje na adabu)" he said

He added: “The hypocrisy of planning parallel meetings yet still attending BBI meetings is what we are tired of," he said.

On his part, Nairobi Senator Johnstone Sakaja said that the leaders should follow the advice of President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga on the matter.

"BBI being led by party leader Uhuru Kenyatta is Jubilee position, being led by Raila Odinga is NASA position beyond that, it is the position of people of Kenya. Our colleagues should come in good moods, they’re free to organize more meetings," he said.

The allies of the DP made a dramatic U-turn on BBI on Tuesday. They have, now, vowed to attend all the meetings including one in Mombasa.
