Auma Oliech, the mother of renowned former Kenya soccer maestro Dennis Oliech, has passed on at her home in Lavington after falling ill.
Nickson Onywanda, her son, confirmed the grim news and said that her body had been taken to Umash Funeral Home ahead of burial.

"I can only imagine what Oliech and his siblings are going through right now. It's not an easy thing to lose a mother," Habiba Jain said.
Ms Auma was diagnosed with cancer about five years ago and had to be flown to the French capital, Paris, to undergo treatment.
