Kakamega senator Cleopha Malala has hit out at Sports CS Rashid Echesa for claiming that opposition chief leader Raila Odinga is behind his woes.
In a video circulating online, Malala says Echesa should torn down his rhetoric on the former Prime Minister lest he personally 'deals with him'.
Malala and Echesa have been at loggerheads for close to three months as the senator accuses the Cabinet Secretary belittling Raila who he described as "the father to all Kenyans".
"It surprises me, you forget so easily Rashid that the other day Raila Amollo Odinga picked you from the streets of Shibale, clothed you in an Orange T-shirt, perfumed your pungent smell, taught you simple English grammatical sentences and here you are spitting venom on Raila," Malala said.
"We want to warn you, Rashid, that we as leaders and youth who support Raila, we will not allow you to abuse Raila when we are listening. We will deal with you perpendicularly."
Echesa has on many occasions accused Raila of hatching a plan to have him removed from the cabinet and replaced with an individual who is closer to him than Ruto.
The CS is on record telling Raila that if he has the capacity to sack him from Cabinet then he should do so.
"Dare sack me from Cabinet if you can," he said last month in an event attended by former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale.
