Kenyans on social media have sent their condolence messages to the family of the late Mariam Kighenda and her four-year-old daughter Amanda Mutheu who died after their car slid off a ferry and plunged into the Indian Ocean.
The two will be laid to rest at their rural home in Ngaamba, Kilome Sub-County, Makueni County.
Kenyans on Twitter mourned the two as they paid their last respects through messages on their Twitter handles. They termed their deaths a tragic incident which had taken the country by surprise.
