Nation Media Group TV (NTV) has hailed opposition leader Raila Odinga for tuning to their programmes at his Capitol Hill offices.
In a photo taken on Wednesday at his office, Odinga's television was tuned at NTV, prompting the station to send him a congratulatory message.
Mr Odinga was meeting Kristina Pratt Kenyatta, sister to President Uhuru Kenyatta. The two held a 1-hour meeting with details still remaining scanty.
"We are glad you're watching, Baba," tweeted NTV, a station owned by His Highness the Aga Khan, who hails from Middle East region.
Odinga's meeting with Kristina Pratt came over a year after he reconciled with President Uhuru Kenyatta. The two families have been at loggerheads since 1966.
"I was pleased to receive Madam Kristina Pratt Kenyatta at my office this morning," Odinga said without giving further details about their meeting.
Three weeks after President Uhuru Kenyatta visited Bondo last year, his younger brother Muhoho Kenyatta also visited the Odinga's during the 25th anniversary of Jaramogi Oginga Odinga.
But Odinga's frequent meetings with Kenyatta family has annoyed economist David Ndii, who worked as part of Odinga's strategist in 2017 polls.
"We have truly lost this one. What a let down," said Ndii, a fierce critic of Jubilee administration and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
