Wazito FC drew 0-0 with Posta Rangers in a tedious Sunday afternoon Kenya Premier League fixture.
The mailmen had better chances but Kevin Omondi made a series of smart saves to keep them quiet. On the other hand, Wazito struggled to create clear goal-scoring chances.
Wazito came into the game after sacking their head coach after a 4-2 loss last weekend and appointed Melis Medo in midweek.
We take a look at which players impressed during the match;
Manager rating
Melis Medo 5/10
The players failed to impose Medo's tactics on a lesser team and had a not so good performance but its only Medo's first game in charge. It will take time to fully implement his style.
Player ratings
Kevin Omondi 6/10
The Wazito goalkeeper had a busy game and was called upon when he denied Francis Nambute a goal after a mistake from the defenders. Omondi showed confidence and was quick to react.
Joe Waithira 5/10
Did a lot right, and was posing a threat to the mailmen with his runs. Had a few good chances, but failed to time his shots.
Mansoor Safi 2/10
Struggled in the first half to get into the game, and didn’t have too much impact on the play. He was substituted in the 42nd minute for Mike Oduor.
Elvis Rupia 3/10
The former KPL top scorer had an indifferent display once again, was quiet for the most part of the game.
Pistone Mutamba 6/10
Looked dangerous whenever he had the ball on his feet, with his first shot on the target being cleared off the goal line.
