Gospel singer Bahati took to Instagram on Saturday to narrate how a white lady from Ice Land 'adopted' him after the death of his biological mother.
According to Bahati, the white lady called Thourun sacrificed a lot to give him a good life which included taking him back to school.
"A few Years after I lost my Mum I met this White Lady in Mathare Slums; Name :THOURUN from Ice Land who Decided to take me as her Own Son. She took me back to School and Even Sacrificed to Stay in Kenya to take Care of me and other Street Kids who Joined us to make ABC Kenya Children's Home.," Bahati wrote on Instagram.
He went ahead to reveal that he learned some of his character traits from the lady who became like a mother to him.
"She Became a Mother that I never had and from her is where I Learned how to Give and Sacrifice for others to have a good Life. (Maybe this is the Reason I get Sick if I don't Support Others in their Lives & Careers) It was Passed to me by #Thourun° Since then No Matter What I go through to me GIVING HAS BEEN A CALLING," part of Bahati's Instagram post read.
The singer claimed it was extremely humbling for him to host Thourun at his house as she is the lady who bought him his first house shopping.
