Reports from Kisumu indicates that the two were ordered out by Senate Minority Leader James Orengo since the meeting was 'all Luo affair' but they would later be allowed to see Uhuru briefly.

"Kisii Governor James Ongwae, his Nyamira counterpart John Nyagarama and Kitutu Chache North MP Jimmy Angwenyi who had earlier joined Luo Nyanza governors, senators and MPs at the meeting were urged to excuse themselves but later met with the President," the Nation reported. amp/s/www.nation.co.ke

But Nyagarama's son, Mr Momanyi Nyagarama, who also doubles as Director Implementation and Monitoring, dismissed the reports as malicious propaganda from the media.

"Get your facts right and do not take everything on paper as true facts. If I may ask who is the author of that newspaper? Would such miss on Audio press media? Why could such happen when there was official invitation?

"Anyway simply there is freedom of everything but I advise you to be cautious and respect your elders if not authority. These leaders you talking about were all together with the president past late hours of the night," he argued.

The president visited Kisumu for the first time in as many months and was ushered in by ODM leader Raila Odinga among other leaders from the Nyanza region.
