Speaking on Monday morning at Citizen TV's daybreak show, the Senator said he opposed the handshake due to the high level of its insincerity citing the dangerous trade relations Kenya has been plunged into on trade after the explosive 'conmanship' was exposed last week stating it is dangerous for one to export goods.

"It is very dangerous to export because of political conmanship. This is why some of us were opposing the handshake; it has now become ‘fake goldshake’," Samson Cherargei said.

His remarks come barely three days after an expo was made with regards to what was termed as the fake gold scam in which the United Arab Emirates royal family is said to have been 'conned' millions for the gold which has not been delivered.

It came to the limelight that the Saudi prince was demanding for his consignment which has never been delivered 5 months since the payments were made, in a leaked conversation between the Saudi Prince aide and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula.
