Police are reportedly having a hard time arresting a third suspect in the murder of Monica Kimani.
Already, suspects Jacque Maribe and Joseph Irungu are behind bars waiting to take a plea on Monday.
However, a third suspect said to be a man who was in the company of Irungu alias Jowie on the night of the murder is still missing.
Police said the man is believed to have traveled to Mombasa to seek the powers of a witchdoctor.
A team of detectives sent to Mombasa to hunt the man is yet to corner him.
Sources who talked to the Standard said the man is suspect to be the one with information on where the murder weapon, a knife, and the keys to Monica’s house and car are.
Monica’s house was locked from outside after she was murdered and police suspect the keys and the knife were dumped somewhere.
The suspect, police theorise, can also offer key information on how much money was stolen from the deceased’s house as they pursue cash as the motive of the killing.
