Speaking on Sunday, the opposition MP noted that the DP will have to work on a number of things to be fit to participate in the 2022 polls.

She said that having previoulsly worked with the DP, she has found him to be a man who holds grudges against fellow politicians, which makes him unfit for the presidential seat.

Millie likened Ruto to a politician with a rear-view mirror, who keeps looking back at what others did to him in the past, which she said should never be the case in the political arena.

"He needs to work on certain issues, he holds grudges. He holds bridges with the political leadership," she said in an interview on Punchline on Sunday night.

She further faulted the DP for being bitter with specific groups of Kenyans, accusing him of having a personal vendetta against Luos.

Millie claimed that the DP, in his previous pronouncements, has hinted at having personal issues with members of the Luo community, which should not be a characteristic of a leader.

"He seems to have a personal vendetta with the Luo community because of his pronouncements. He doesn't endear himself to me because he looks like has ethnic biases. He needs to work on that," she added.
