While the identity of the five remains anonymous, reports the Standard, Uhuru is now working on another executive order that would see vacation of several ministers from office amid fury from Kenyans.

“The President reportedly called National Intelligence Service (NIS) director Philip Kameru to ask for the report on them. The NIS report was not ready, and that is how the five kept their jobs, at least for now,” disclosed another source within the Presidency.

“A new executive order is being worked on. The release date has not been indicated,” the Saturday Standard was informed.

The National Intelligence Service is an undercover of both the military and the police whose sole responsibility is to monitor behind the scene secrets both in and out of government.

Usually, the team submits weekly reports on various issues to the President for action. The reports are done based on the truthful gathered by the team without any alterations.

Currently, several ministries are on spotlight over graft scandals and it is said that the five ministers under probe were on the list of those supposed to be vacated on Friday.

Only Sports minister Rashid Echesa was not lucky as Uhuru fired him reportedly based on his continuous engagement in politics.
