President Uhuru will be in Eldoret town to officially open Rivatex East Africa limited.

On Thursday, Daily Nation published that the president's itinerary will only allow the area Governor Jackson Mandago, Deputy President William Ruto and finally the President to speak during the official opening of the Rivatex East Africa limited.

Speaking to the press at Rivatex on Thursday, Sudi termed the claims as propaganda.

"I want to categorically refute claims on one of the dailies that I will not be allowed to speak, those are mere rumours meant to incite the public and residents should ignore that," said the Kapseret legislator.

He said Eldoret is a peaceful county and there is no cause for alarm.

"As the area MP, I want to say that Friday is a big day for us since Rivatex had problems and we requested President Uhuru Kenyatta to help us and he did. We welcome you to come and open the company which will offer job opportunities to our youths," he added.

He further said that as leaders from the region, they love development and there is time for politics and that for development.

Sudi noted that they love the President since he is their party leader and Uasin Gishu is like his second home.

He called on residents to come out in large numbers and welcome the Uhuru.
