In a tweet, Khalwale said Liverpool’s Sadio Mane will make the difference during the match against Algeria.

He, however, noted that Senegal should be cautious of Algeria forward Riyad Mahrez who is so good with dead balls.

“Senegal start clear favorites in tomorrow's final of the AFCON 2019 Finals in Cairo. A game that will bring to the surface the ingenuity of Sadio Mane against the dead ball magic of Riyad Mahrez of Algeria. The beautiful mosaic of Black & Arabic Africa!’ he tweeted.

The sentiments of the ex-senator come after Algeria's coach Djamel Belmadi asked African countries to consider black coaches to take charge of their teams.

He noted that it is a historic moment for the first time two black coaches are meeting at a final.

“It’s a great message that we have sent to those responsible for football in all countries in Africa, it’s amazing,” Belmadi said as quoted by Standard.

He also exuded confidence that his side will sail through during the competition when they take on Senegal in one of the most awaited contests.

The coach said he believes Senegal coach Aliou Cisse is one of the best coaches of all time, adding that he looks forward to playing against him.
