Billionaire Nairobi-based businessman Chris Kirubi has offered free advice to employers who mistreat their workers.
The business mogul says the greatest asset any business can have are employees who feel content with the work they do and are passionate to grow the business.
For any business to succeed, he says, employees must feel like part of the company.
Kirubi says any employer-employee relationship that sails in doubt can easily lead to the collapse of the business however big the investment is.
"Treat your employees right, so they won't use your Internet to search for a new job," Kirubi who has a huge following on Twitter said on Friday.
Kirubi is among shareholders of the newly opened multi-billion shilling Two Rivers Shopping Mall.
He also has shares in national carrier Kenya Airways, owns Capital FM and holds majority shares in a dozen companies listed at the Nairobi Stock Exchange.
He encourages youth to be serious in business and always have a clear plan of what they want to achieve in life- either in the short term or in the long-run.
"Personally, I tend to keep a pen and paper at my bedside. When I am resting, I often find that I get moments of clarity about what I need to pursue in line with what I feel strongly about. I must write them down and pursue these thoughts later or I will lose them," he said.
