In a tweet, the former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant mourned the late Safaricom boss, who died on Monday morning at his home.

"Rest in peace Bob Collymore. With Nicholas Ng'ang'a as Safaricom PLC Board's chair, Ann Ndiritu heading ROPP, @njorogep at CBK, James Githii Mburu as @KRA's Commissioner General, Kibicho at Interior and Thuggee at Treasury, @SafaricomPLC is the next CARTEL DEN," he said.

Collymore succumbed to cancer leaving behind a wife and four children.

His death has left behind a big gap that will take time to be filled. The exiled lawyer hinted that a possible replacement of Bob Collymore might be a corrupt person.

Miguna's message attracted reactions from residents who came out attacking him for "politicking" when eulogizing the late Bob Collymore.
