Amina has held most powerful positions and chaired the highest meetings across the globe since her potential of service delivery was tapped by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Ever since she became the first Kenyan woman to have served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs which had been dominated by men for decades.

Accordingly, Dr Amina became the first woman to have chaired the Governing General Council of the World Trade Organization (WTO) in 2000, a prestigious position no woman in the world has ever held.

She also chaired the Dispute Settlement Body that was concerned with the disputes resolution mechanism in the United Nations and its member states in 2004.

In the World's Organization, she chaired the United Nations Immigration and as the President of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) that deals exclusively with the Multinational crimes like terrorism, trafficking, narcotics drugs among other high-level crimes for one year in 2010.

Ever since then, the well-furnished leader has been a strong pillar to President Kenyatta's administration which saw the head of State recently award her the Cabinet Secretary of Education docket and recently given the Sports and Culture Ministry after the sacking of Rashid Echesa.

Her diligence, resilience and commitment have seen her become one of the most celebrated women leaders in the country and across the African continent.
