Thousands of Raila Odinga's supporters have reportedly delivered their CVs at Captol Hill in hope that he will assist them secure jobs.
An aide who spoke in confidence said more that 500 CVs had been dropped with some even demanding to get cleaners job in his new offices.
"The rate of unemployment is appalling. I can't count hundreds of CVs dropped since last month. They all want new jobs and believe Raila will help them secure opportunities," he said in an exclusive interview.
Raila was appointed to Africa Union as High Representative for Infrastructural Development in October, a position he has since assumed.
A week after attending a conference in Addis Ababa, Raila jetted to Zimbabwe on Sunday to attend another conference dubbed Africa Air Market.
Blogger Robert Alai sensationally claimed that Mr Odinga has since appointed his last born daughter Winnie Odinga as his Personal Secretary to the AU offices.
"Winnie Odinga is now Raila's personal secretary. She is accompanying her father everywhere. That's Odinga for you," he claimed even as Winnie was pictured with the father in AU summits.
Raila will have five offices across the continent in Abuja (West Africa), Cairo (Egypt), Johannesburg (South Africa), Addis Ababa (Main offices) and Nairiy for East Africa.
Kalonzo Musyoka has since been also appointed as Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission head, which supervises peace process in the volatile South Sudan.
