Residents in shock as 28-year-man is found dead in house

Residents of Ngala Estate in Nakuru Town East on Wednesday woke up to shocking news after a young man was found dead in his house.

According to neighbours, the 28-year-old Martin Matheya was in good health the previous day.

Relatives of the deceased, as well as neighbors, have recorded statements with the police.

Nakuru OCPD Samuel Obara while confirming the incident said investigations have been launched to establish the cause of the death.

“We received reports and went to the scene. Up to now, we are still treating the incident as sudden death until investigations are complete to determine what led to the death,” said OCPD Obara.

The body was taken to the mortuary awaiting postmortem.
