Musa who hails from Baringo County has almost given up after his baby, young Nathan Yatich developed brain complications months after his birth in 2017.

With no job, he has done all there is to be done to make sure his son who is reportedly going blind gets the necessary medical attention including costly therapy sessions every week.

But as lady luck would have it, Hivisasa's highlight of his plight has touched many hearts. A funds drive has been launched to help baby Nathan get the required medical attention.

According to Maureen Kapterit, who's leading baby Nathan funds drive through a WhatsApp group; with the help of her friends, they managed to collect Sh16, 784 on the first day, March 27.

"We have no relationship with Musa. We feel his pain. We all have a reason to make Musa smile again as our support will see his baby Nathan sit down and stand like his agemates." said a tearful Maureen Kapterit.

Maureen and her group are hoping for more potential well-wishers to help the baby and also help Musa get a job.

Musa has a diploma in purchasing and supplies and also a higher diploma in entrepreneurship development.

"Before things get worse and because no one knows about tomorrow, I only appeal that I get a job to take care of my family and my son also who needs weekly medical attention, " said Musa

Despite all medication he has been subjected to from 2017, baby Nathan hasn't been able to sit down or talk. He undergoes physiotherapy thrice a week.

Nathan according to his loving father is now going blind.
