There was drama at Amariba area on Thursday evening after Nyaribari Chache MP Richard Tong'i came to inspect the ongoing construction of a multi-purpose hall at Amariba Secondary school.
The Jubilee allied MP was heckled by angry locals when he tried to address them.
"We don't want to listen to any of your lies. You boycotted the special sittings to defend us and now you are here to tell us lies," said Maurice Obwocha.
The angry electorates condemned the MP for putting his interest first instead of giving priority to the interests.
"This MP is a disgrace to us. He is serving his Jubilee Party instead of serving us. We have not been hearing any of his comment on the 8 percent additional tax on petrol. In 2022 he should prepare to go home," said Samuel Nyamote.
Dinah Nyaming'a, a tomato vendor faulted the MP over his silence on the matter.
The MP was forced to cut off his address and his driver sped off towards Kiogoro area after the locals threatened to stone him.
