The draw for the 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifiers has been released.
Kenya's national football team Harambee Stars will face two teams from the East African region, and one and from the West African region, in the World Cup second qualifying round.
The teams are; Uganda and Rwanda, neighbours in East Africa, and Mali from West Africa.
On paper, Harambee Stars' opponents look fairly easy to beat, if the team prepares well, and approaches all games with the much needed concentration, and motivation.
Only the top team in the group will qualify for the next round, where all the 10 top teams will face the final challenge of the playoffs.
Only five teams from Africa will be bestowed with the honour of representing the continent at the World Cup in Qatar in 2022.
Should Kenya make it to Qatar, it would be the first country from East Africa to do so.
Kenya has never played in any world cup tournament.
The Harambee Stars qualified for the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament, that was staged in Cairo for the first time in 15 years.
