The young star through his latest audio 'Chuki' released on Sunday narrates how rich and older enemies are hunting him down.

Aslay is not a new name in the music scene. He has been working hard to build his name and brand as solo artist after leaving former band, Ya moto Band, which was highly celebrated.

The musician enjoys huge support here in Kenya, and after he did a collabo with gospel artist Bahati, his fame in Kenya grew bigger.

However, recently, Aslay's music star has been deeming. His newest songs are not doing good like he used to be when he started as solo artist. For instance, his latest 'Wife' video is one of his best songs but about a week, it has attracted less than 400,000 viewers.

It started with his 'Nasubiri Nin' collabo with Bahati which flopped after the two artists failed to promote the song. Bahati claimed Aslay become arrogant and that his management were not acting professionally, the result of it all, no one posted the song on their social media handles.

“When two artistes work together, they should be humble so as to push the song but when one of us decides to act like a star it stops many things. It was a song I loved and wanted to take it to another level. But Aslay’s management was uncooperative in terms of revenue shares, how the song would be sold online etc,” Bahati once said as quoted by Nairobi News.

In Aslay's Chuki, he says enemies are using black magic to see him fail in life.

"My enemies are richer and older than I, I don't owe them and they don't owe me but they hate me. They are sacrificing goats that I lose focus, see how they are dishing out money. (Maadaui wamenizidi pesa na umri, sijui au tuseme nina kiburi, nakataa, hawanidai, siwadai ila nashangaa wananichukia, wanachinja mbuzi kafara ili Aslay apotee, ona wanavyo mwaga hela)," reads part of Aslay's lyrics.
