Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka is among top politicians who have declared their interests in vying for the presidential seat in 2022 polls.
Kalonzo says he has what it takes to take over the country's top leadership from President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Kalonzo has been quoted saying that he is ready to partner with the like-minded politicians in his 2022 presidential ambition.
On Tuesday last week, the former Vice President hosted Ukambani leaders consultative meeting at his Yatta farm.
The meeting was attended by top politicians among them former Jubilee party vice-chairman David Murathe who called on Kamba leaders to unite behind Kalonzo.
As Kalonzo strategizes for the 2022 presidential election, there are regions that are likely to massively vote for him.
Here are the regions Kalonzo is banking on for votes in his 2022 presidential bid.
1. Ukambani
Kalonzo is the Kamba political leader.
He still enjoys massive support in Machakos, Kitui and Makueni counties despite the growing rebellion against him.
Ukambani is likely to stand with Kalonzo in 2022 owing to his political experience.
2. Coast
Kalonzo is likely to get massive support from the Coastal region in 2022.
The former Vice President wil be assured of the Coast votes if he wins Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho's on his side.
Joho is the Coastal political kingpin and has equally declared an interest in the 2022 presidential poll.
3. Gusii region
Kalonzo enjoys massive support in Gusii land.
The rich vote region could massively support him in 2022.
4. Western
Kalonzo is likely to get overwhelming votes in Western region if he partners with the region's top leaders.
Kalonzo can stand a higher chance of ascending to presidency if he seeks Amani National Congress (ANC) Party leader Musalia Mudavadi's backing.
5. Mount Kenya
The region is known for its 'tyranny of numbers.'
Political analyst Peter Ngure argues that Mt. Kenya could easily support Kalonzo's 2022 presidential bid.
The pundit claims that Kalonzo is seen as more friendly to Mt. Kenya than any other presidential candidate eyeing the top seat.
